Bio
Mika Clarke aka Mika Vtcn was born on March 21st, 1996 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Mika lived in Cape Town for most of his childhood and moved up to Johannesburg to start his grade 3 years in Primary school in Sandton.
It was there, where he found an interest for music after being in a number of talent shows and performing for small crowds.He was bitten by the music bug ,specifically Hip-Hop music , at the age of 10.
Growing up on rock n roll, he was introduced to a well-known rapper by the name of Jay-Z on a collaboration album with Linkin Park.
He then went on to discover other various musicians such as 50 Cent, Eminem, Lil Wayne and more, And ever since, he has written and recorded his own musical works.
Mika found himself surrounded by other musical talents in high school. He later joined a group named M.E.G. and had been making music with them from 2011 to 2014.
After relocating to another high school, he decided to go to the solo route and work independently. Not too long after relocating, Mika was introduced to a pair of individuals that shared the same musical interests,They then ventured off to start their own independent record label by the name of Vth Legacy, to which he is currently signed as a solo independent artist.
He then went on to attend the Academy of Sound Engineering college in Auckland Park, but later came to understand that he personally wasn’t satisfied with the teachings of said college and dropped out to pursue recording music full time.
